Overview

Ideal for design or marketing students who want practical experience with strategic creative thinking. You'll work directly with our team on client projects while learning systematic approaches to brand development. Based in Vancouver with opportunities for in-person collaboration, client meeting observation, and professional network building. This internship focuses on skill development through real work—not coffee runs or busy work. Special preference given to Emily Carr University students and those connecting through The Leeway program.

What You'll Be Doing

Contribute to strategic brand projects while learning professional creative processes. You'll support our team on various client deliverables while gaining exposure to strategic thinking, client communication, and project management. Vancouver location enables face-to-face collaboration and client meeting participation when appropriate.

Key Activities:

  • Research assistance for competitive analysis and industry trend identification
  • Design support for marketing materials, presentations, and digital assets
  • Client meeting participation and professional communication observation
  • Portfolio development with guidance and mentorship throughout projects
  • Administrative support for project coordination and client communication

You'll learn strategic creative thinking through hands-on experience with real client challenges. Projects include industry associations, professional organizations, and government clients requiring strategic brand development. Mentorship includes regular skill development sessions, portfolio review, and career guidance. Vancouver location provides networking opportunities and exposure to professional creative industry practices. Skills You Possess

Required Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in communications design, or related program (Emily Carr University preferred)
  • Basic Adobe Creative Suite knowledge and willingness to learn advanced techniques
  • Strong communication skills and professional presentation abilities
  • Interest in strategic thinking and business-focused creative solutions
  • Vancouver-based with reliable transportation for occasional in-person collaboration

You're curious, professional, and eager to learn industry practices. Emily Carr students and Leeway program participants especially encouraged to apply. Academic performance matters less than enthusiasm for strategic creative work and commitment to skill development.
